Qualifications:
* Deliver engaging science instruction aligned with Grade 8 standards and the Sci Ed curriculum
* Plan and facilitate hands-on laboratory activities that promote critical thinking and inquiry
* Prepare lab materials and ensure safe, effective implementation of experiments
* Guide students in scientific writing, including lab reports, data analysis, and evidence-based conclusions
* Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods
* Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and continuous improvement
Experience teaching middle school science preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution;
Valid Massachusetts Certification required in General Science 5-8
Salary:
Per Unit A Contract (salary range: $53,939.00 - $)
