Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students in a specialized educational setting dedicated to empowering learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or other learning differences. For the 2026/2027 school year, you will provide expert Speech‑Language Pathology services as part of the Compass High Program, fostering independence and communication skills in a nurturing environment outside of traditional classrooms.

This role involves direct service delivery, assessment, and therapy for youth within a supportive, collaborative team, as well as supervising an SLPA. You’ll make an impact in a program tailored specifically for high school students who benefit from alternative educational approaches and personalized attention.

Qualifications & Desired Experience
  • Active SLP‑CCC and all state‑mandated credentials for MA
  • Prior school‑based SLP experience, particularly at the high school level
  • Expertise working with AAC devices is required
  • Experience supporting students with ASD and diverse learning needs
  • Capacity to supervise and mentor an SLPA
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities
  • Provide speech‑language therapy and develop IEP goals for students
  • Supervise and guide an SLPA in daily instructional support
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, timely records
  • Collaborate with educators, support personnel, and families to foster meaningful student progress
  • Develop creative, individualized interventions in a non‑traditional, student‑focused environment
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to broader program initiatives
