Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026

• Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning
• Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students
• Participate in in‑service training programs, as assigned
• Guide independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work assigned by the teacher
• Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and instruction
• Other duties as may be assigned
• Experience working with special needs students preferred

• Associate's Degree or 48 college credits attained or Workkeys
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
• Alternatives found to be appropriate
• Experience working with children who have social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities a plus

Salary:
To be commensurate with the West Springfield Paraprofessional (Unit

D) contract (salary range: $18.67/hr-$23.96/hr)
