Conduct advanced calibration and precision adjustments on sensitive electronic instruments, controllers, and sensors used in the plating process. Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic and electrical issues in equipment, circuitry, and systems. Lead the validation and qualification process for new electronic equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Perform preventive maintenance on critical electronic and electrical equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Analyze calibration and testing data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for process optimization. Maintain meticulous records of calibration, repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities, adhering to industry guidelines and company procedures. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines when handling sensitive electronic equipment and electrical systems. Collaborate with the maintenance team and provide technical training and support to less experienced technicians.
Manage an inventory of calibration tools, spare parts, and specialized equipment required for precision calibration and repairs. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Education Preferred:
Bachelors Or Better. Experience
- Preferred 1-3 years of hands‑on experience as a Calibration/Electronics Technician or similar role, with a focus on precision calibration and advanced troubleshooting.
- Advanced technical skills in electronic circuitry, calibration procedures, instrumentation, and electronic testing techniques.
