Overview
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Part Time Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our Park Street Behavioral and Medical Services team in West Springfield, MA. This is a part-time schedule with an 8-hour workday on Fridays only.
ResponsibilitiesThe Primary Care Medical Assistant is an integral part of the client’s service team within the Park Street team. You will:
- Use an electronic medical record for chart review and telehealth appointments
- Develop supportive relationships with clients
- Interact with clients to assess needs, obtain vital signs, complete PAs
- Coordinate medical and psychiatric care with clients’ support network (e.g., family members, other service providers)
- Actively collaborate with other agencies to coordinate client treatment
- Liaise with local pharmacies to fill prescriptions for clients’ medications
- Prepare lab requests and obtain results
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- CPR and First Aid Certificate, preferred
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check
- Approved criminal background check (CORI)
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, team-oriented individual ready to contribute to the betterment of the team. We are looking for a professional medical assistant to complement the dynamic growing team.
Pay and BenefitsPay rate is $20-25/hr based on experience. Our phenomenal benefits package includes dental, health and life insurance, paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays, just to name a few.
