Overview

Speech Language Pathologist Are you eager to dive into the dynamic world of developmental disabilities and make a real impact? Get ready to take center stage as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist at our May Center for Early Intervention, Western Massachusetts!

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services to children for whom therapy supports are identified in their Individual Family Service Plan.
  • Complete a specific assessment to document child's status.
  • Collaborate with parent to develop specific functional outcomes using family friendly terminology.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with child's service coordinator to ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • Train and provide consultation to staff as needed.
  • Attend IFSP and school meetings.
  • Document session notes after each visit.
  • Supervise students in their clinical fellowship year.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • 2 Years Experience Supporting Infants and Toddlers Preferred.
  • Knowledge of child development.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
