Role DescriptionThe Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for pediatric clients in an outpatient setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, and documenting services in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The clinician will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support carryover of skills across home and community environments.
This is a part time on-site role located in West Springfield, MA, requiring consistent in-person and after school availability and engagement with clients and families.
- Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current or eligible Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist; ASHA CCC‑SLP preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience working with the pediatric population.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time‑management skills, with a commitment to family‑centered, evidence‑based practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
