• Accept calls, respond to Dispatch or members with ETA, locate members, and greet them; handle emotional states and provide reassurance.
• Assess safety of the scene upon arrival to ensure the vehicle is in a safe location and not endangering members.
• Provide efficient minor mechanical assistance (if trained and equipped), diagnose probable causes of breakdowns, and determine best course of action; seek assistance if unsure.
• Provide battery boost as appropriate following all safety procedures; if towing is required, safely tow vehicles per Club policies, AAA towing manual, and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment in good working order; conduct safety checks; maintain inventory of tools and products; follow traffic and motor vehicle laws.
• Maintain a professional image for the brand; operate vehicle MDC computer to receive and update call information; collect revenue accurately; safeguard confidential information.
• Promote AAA products and services; educate members on battery replacement; refer calls to appropriate technicians; coordinate with Dispatch to get members to destinations.
• Work independently with minimal face‑to‑face contact; adapt to a variety of shifts to cover a 24/7 operation.
• Prevent damage and injury by securing proper points and adapting to vehicle dynamics while towing.
• Work under pressure in busy, varied traffic, and weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hourly pay: $21.50 – $25.75, with additional shift differentials: $2.75 for overnight (10pm–6am), $1.75 for evening (6‑10pm), and $1 for weekend hours. Differentials can be combined. • High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Post‑secondary training in automotive mechanics and electrical troubleshooting.

• Active, valid driver’s license issued by one state or jurisdiction.
• DOT card pre‑hire and current within 1 year.
• Pass motor vehicle record check during pre‑hire screening and periodically during employment.
