We are seeking a 3rd shift Bulk Milk Receiver / Shipper to join our team based out of our West Springfield, MA plant. This is a full time (40 hours/week), 3rd shift (11pm-7am) position. It offers a base rate pay of $27.74 per hour and an additional 10%-night differential added to the base rate.

This position also offers eligibility for rate increases every 6 months for the first two years of employment. There are ample opportunities for advancement with this entry level position.

Responsibilities
  • Work in the receiving bays with the milk tankers and provide for proper sampling, temperature, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends consistent with governmental regulation.
  • Maintain facilities in a sanitary manner, including Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings and other non-contact surfaces.
  • Drive yard horse on the property (training will be provided).
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED, with strong writing and math skills. Preference given to candidates with experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Mechanically inclined candidates may be more successful in this role.
  • Occasional handling and maneuvering of objects weighing up to 100 lbs. while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
