Overview
Bear Mountain at West Springfield, a skilled nursing facility located in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking nurses for all shifts. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available with exceptional benefits for eligible positions. This program offers a good work-life balance. Work 2 or 3 days and have 4 or 5 days off. Pay rates range from $44 - $50 hourly.
ResponsibilitiesNurses care for people who are sick, injured, convalescent, cognitively impaired, or disabled. Under general supervision, they deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with established philosophy.
- Provide nursing care as an RN to patients on all shifts.
- Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation) to plan and deliver care.
- Work 12-hour shifts:
Days 7am–7pm;
Nights 7pm–7am.

While performing the duties of the RN, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and smell. May be required to provide lifting and transfer assistance to patients/residents safely. This job requires significant physical activities including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
Lifting devices and/or assistance may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Federal, state, and required credentials current and on file
- Licensure in the state of MA
- Skilled nursing home experience preferred but not required; willingness to train the right candidate
- CPR certification required
- Vaccination required per MA regulations
