Job Description
At Bio Life, we know that flexibility matters—especially for those balancing multiple commitments. That's why we're dedicated to creating meaningful part‑time opportunities for our team. This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week—designed to fit your life. We will confirm availability, along with shift days and times, early in the interview process.
Team members will be informed in advance of any schedule changes. Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so reliability during scheduled hours is greatly valued. At the same time, these part‑time roles are designed with the understanding that flexibility on both sides is important.
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute- You will answer phones, greet donors and focus on donor safety.
- You will screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
- You will use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
- You will be available for a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
- Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Can lift up to 5 lbs.; occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Because of potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer‑ or patient‑facing role is helpful.
