Long Term Substitute Nurse

West Springfield Public Schools

Duties:

• Provide first aid to children, care for students who have suffered an injury or medical emergency
• Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with school policy and physician orders
• Perform medical procedures as indicated by students' physicians
• Screen students in the areas of vision, hearing and scoliosis
• Maintain health records
• Maintain confidentiality in school, home, and community settings as mandated by Massachusetts Regulations
• Performs other duties reasonably related to his/her function, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• RN, BSN, MA DESE School Nurse Licensed or eligible
• CPR certified

Salary: $38.61/hour
