The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Longmeadow, MA. This position oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, merchandising, and inventory control. The manager leads and supports the sales team, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service and efficient problem resolution. Responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, implementing retail loss prevention practices, and maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging store environment.

The role also involves coaching and training team members, handling scheduling, and collaborating with leadership to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to positive in-store experiences.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and coordinating with company leadership.
• Proven Store Management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, merchandising, and operational oversight.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to protect company assets and ensure a secure store environment.
• Experience in retail, preferably in sporting goods or outdoor equipment; ski and bike product knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team motivation, performance management, and problem-solving.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory tools, and common office software.
• Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and assist with light to moderate lifting of merchandise.
