The Town of West Springfield is seeking a Utility Locator / Dig Safe Technician to perform underground utility locating services for Town-owned infrastructure including water, sewer, and electric systems. The role demands responding to Dig Safe tickets timely and participating in emergency operations, with overtime eligibility.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of relevant experience, and a valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Driver’s License. Proficiency in GIS software and utility locating methods is preferred.
