Airgas is Hiring for a Local Delivery Driver (CDL

We are looking for you!

• Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
• Collects empty cylinders from customers.
• Records transactions and obtains signatures.
• Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
• Handles loading/unloading.
• Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
• Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class B CDL license
• Must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 90 days of being hired
• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required
• Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Experience
• Touch freight delivery experience
