Hourly Rate: $15.00
Responsibilities- Loading, transporting, and delivering items between stores in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the team member is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Using route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time.
- When applicable, completing daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notifying the manager of any issues.
- Assist in any and all other store/warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and prolonged sitting (Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs).
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
- Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for purposes of navigation/route optimization.
- Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed (preferred).
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
- You must meet all of the above minimum “Requirements and Qualifications” and “Knowledge,

” to be eligible to drive for Parts Authority.
