Hamshaw Lumber is hiring for a Full-Time CDL Delivery Truck Driver. Hamshaw Lumber is a family-run business that provides quality building supplies and exceptional customer service to Southwestern New Hampshire, North Central Massachusetts, and beyond.
As a CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating delivery trucks, loading and unloading materials, assisting customers, operating forklifts, and maintaining a safe work environment. If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoy working outdoors, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities- Operate delivery trucks and ensure safe transportation of materials
- Load and unload trucks efficiently
- Assist customers with their orders
- Operate forklifts and keep vehicles organized
- Work collaboratively with team members in the yard
- CDL-B license in good standing
- MA Hoisting License or ability to obtain
- DOT health card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work a Saturday rotation
- Capability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Familiarity with building materials, especially lumber a plus
- Previous experience in a lumber yard preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Willingness to take and pass a drug test and pre-employment assessment
- Consent to a background check
