• Providing direct patient care in accordance with Minnesota state, federal, and facility guidelines.
• Supervising CNAs.
• Medication administration.
• Wound care and treatment.
• Providing general nursing care to residents in accordance with the facility's nursing policy and procedures.
• Addressing problems identified in the resident’s care plan for RN nurse review.

• Current and active license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and professional/regulatory agents.
