Iris Park Commons is our Assisted Living community, providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a welcoming environment.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee nursing services and support high-quality resident care at Iris Park Commons Assisted Living. This leadership role is responsible for clinical oversight, staff supervision, care coordination, regulatory compliance, and ensuring residents receive exceptional care that supports dignity, safety, and well-being.
Shift: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE
Schedule:
8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. | NO ON-CALL OR WEEKENDS! Wage: $76-96K/ yr. DOE
- Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized service plans
- Monitor resident conditions and update service plans as needed
- Oversee medication management and ensure physician order compliance
- Communicate with physicians, families, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supervise and support licensed and unlicensed nursing staff
- Provide staff coaching, training, orientation, and performance oversight
- Ensure proper staffing coverage and scheduling coordination
- Maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Participate in audits, infection control initiatives, and quality improvement efforts
- Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly
- Support transitions of care, including hospital discharges and hospice coordination
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota in good standing
- Strong clinical assessment and service planning skills
- Strong understanding of assisted living regulations, rules, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, home care, or public health nursing
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Minnesota senior living regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to move throughout the workday and navigate multiple care settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds
- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to assess residents and operate clinical equipment safely and effectively
