Position OverviewWe're seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to support and optimize automation systems within a highly automated manufacturing environment. This role will lead controls projects, improve equipment reliability, troubleshoot plant automation systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, and automation systems.
- Lead controls and capital automation projects from concept through commissioning.
- Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify and solve manufacturing challenges.
- Support automation upgrades, system modernization, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of industrial controls engineering experience.
- Required: Strong experience with SCADA Ignition (Vision & Perspective).
- PLC programming experience (Rockwell/Logix preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing or highly automated production environments.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, industrial networking, and troubleshooting.
