We're Hiring:
Geotechnical Lab Technician

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Geotechnical Lab Technician to join our team in the West Valley City and Ogden, Utah areas. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on geotechnical testing experience who enjoys working both in the lab and in the field.

What You'll Do

+ Perform laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, and other construction materials

+ Conduct testing in accordance with applicable ASTM and AASHTO standards

+ Prepare and document laboratory test results accurately

+ Collect, label, and process material samples

+ Maintain testing equipment and a clean, organized laboratory

+ Assist with field testing and inspections as needed

+ Communicate test results and findings with project managers and field personnel

+ Follow all company safety procedures and quality-control requirements

What We're Looking For

+ At least 1 year of geotechnical, construction materials, or laboratory testing experience

+ Familiarity with soil and aggregate testing procedures

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document results

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

+ Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when needed

Preferred Qualifications

+ ACI certification preferred

+ Additional ASTM/AASHTO or construction materials certifications are a plus

+

Experience with concrete, soils, aggregates, or asphalt testing
