The Westerner in West Valley City, UT is looking to a couple part-time Security Personnel to join our posse! Joining us means on Friday and Saturday nights there will be fun and excitement! We offer competitive pay starting at $20 per hour
!

We first opened our doors in 1962 as Salt Lake City's original country dance hall, bar, and grill! Our multifunctional design creates fun nights filled with live music, free mechanical bull rides, pool tables, line dance lessons, couple dance lessons, a karaoke room, and more! We provide a fun and safe environment for both our customers and our employees!

You'll be the vigilant eyes and ears of our establishment, responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our customers and employees! That means security is busy monitoring the crowd for potential disagreements or signs of over-intoxication, promptly addressing any concerns that arise, and providing assistance with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may also assist in busing empty glassware to support our floor staff during peak hours. While we have off-duty police officers onsite for additional support, we view our security team as helpful employees that help people have the best time! Support customer service, be friendly and enhance the overall guest experience.

• 21+ years of age
• Ability to acquire a Utah Alcohol Server training card and a Salt Lake County Health Department food handler's permit, within 14 days of hire
