Decision Scientist

**** Technical Proficiency:****
* ** Strong BI experience and advanced SQL skills with hands-on application.**
* ** Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or modern data transformation tools.**
* ** Experience with Python or R for analysis or data preparation.**
* ** Exposure to API data integration or working with semi-structured data (JSON, logs, etc.)
****** Data Warehousing:
** Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
****** Business Acumen:
** Ability to connect data insights to real business outcomes
****** Communication

Skills:

** Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain data concepts clearly
****** Adaptability:
** Ability to move quickly in a startup environment and pivot with changing priorities**
* ** Experience leveraging AI/ML tools, LLMs, or automation frameworks to enhance analytics workflows**
* ** Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted reporting, or intelligent data exploration tools**
* ** Background in auto finance, consumer lending, credit, collections, delinquency, or loss mitigation**
* ** Understanding of loan lifecycle metrics (originations, charge-offs, recovery rates, etc.)**
* ** Knowledge of regulatory or compliance reporting in financial services**
* ** Experience supporting operations, customer servicing, or performance teams**
* ** Ability to prioritize work based on business value and ROI**
* ** Exposure to experimentation, A/B testing, or performance optimization**
* ** Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality monitoring**
* ** Familiarity with data documentation and lineage practices**
* ** Strong ownership and accountability**
