Senior Data Architect - Information Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data architectures, data models, and data flow diagrams to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Lead the creation, optimization, and maintenance of ETL pipelines and data integration processes across on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define data standards, governance policies, and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate storage solutions (relational, No
  
  SQL, data lake) to meet performance, security, and cost requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

• Master’s (or Bachelor’s) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing data architectures, data models, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data storage technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, MongoDB, Hadoop).
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization techniques.
