Northrop Grumman is a pioneering technology company committed to innovation and impact. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Project Manager in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program.
Role SummaryThe selected candidate will oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as liaison between project management, planning, project teams and line management. Responsibilities include reviewing project status and budgets; managing schedules and preparing status reports; assessing project issues and developing resolutions; monitoring progress and facilitating problem solving; and providing project metrics and reporting.
Responsibilities- Oversee SIMS Metrics, establishing seating, ordering resources/tools/software required day1, etc.
- Work with Functional Homeroom to manage weekly staffing metrics.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, gathering data for chart updates from MDT Element Leads.
- Coordinate customer‑level SEWG events, occurring quarterly.
- Create and manage JIRA, Confluence and Team sites; work closely with Scrum Masters to provide PI‑Planning status updates.
- Establish priorities with Procurement and Planning teams.
- Bachelor's degree and 2years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 4years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, etc.) and Special Access Program (SAP).
- Experience in project management, execution and closeout.
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
- Knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff, peers and customers.
- Experience in planning, scheduling and managing projects.
- Experience developing content, packaging and briefing communication to small groups.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Experience coding and creating JIRA, Confluence web pages within the MDT organization.
- Experience using agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience in technical data development.
- PMP certification.
- Current/active SAP.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations.
- At least 1year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 – $98,300.00. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, skills and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses and long‑term incentives may also apply.
