Sourcing Analyst

Calyx Containers is hiring a Sourcing Analyst to provide sourcing support for the most advanced digital packaging operations in the country.

• Support supplier selection, qualification, market research, and onboarding for new and existing products
• Help run RFQs, build cost comparisons, and support negotiation cycles
• Maintain the supplier quality governance process – assessments, audits, performance reviews, issue management
• Partner with the Product team to scope new products and gather market-fit requirements
• Maintain vendor scorecards (fill rate, OTIF, forecast accuracy) and surface trends to the team
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners and 3PLs to align production and replenishment schedules

• Manage VMI for assigned accounts: forecast at SKU/site level, publish reorder proposals, execute within agreed min/max and kanban rules
• Help manage Calyx Cure inventory from production through fulfillment – driving availability and minimizing obsolescence

• Keep master data clean across Net Suite and supporting systems
• Build dashboards and reports the team actually uses
• Champion automation of manual processes – propose ideas, prototype solutions, and partner with internal teams to build data pipelines between Calyx and vendor systems
• Document inventory management procedures so they’re repeatable and don’t live in someone’s head

• Vendor service: OTIF and fill rate at or above target across managed suppliers; backorders trending down
• Forecast accuracy:
  Measurable MAPE improvement on Calyx Cure SKUs
• Onboarding velocity:
  New vendors and products qualified and active within agreed cycle times
• Process maturity:
  Supplier scorecards live and reviewed quarterly; documented SOPs for the top inventory workflows
• Automation:
  At least one meaningful manual process eliminated or automated end-to-end

• 2–3 years in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a similar operations role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent experience
• ERP experience required, Net Suite a strong plus
• Advanced Excel; comfort with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar); bonus for SQL, Python, or Minitab
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving instincts;
  Lean Six Sigma a plus
• Solid written and verbal communication, with the ability to build real relationships with vendors and internal teams
• Comfort with negotiation, or genuine eagerness to learn it
• Detail‑oriented and organized; able to manage multiple work streams without dropping balls
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, regulated, evolving industry (cannabis experience welcome but not required)
• Self‑directed but collaborative
