We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily maintenance activities in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, a passion for safety, and the ability to lead a team to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability of our mining and manufacturing equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance work is completed on time, to specification, and in accordance with safety standards. You will work closely with other departments to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support operational goals.

• Supervise Maintenance Team:
  Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and personnel, providing guidance on daily tasks, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and repair processes.
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
  Ensure that all preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to and implement predictive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs:
  Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in manufacturing and mining equipment, ensuring quick response times to reduce production interruptions.
• Equipment Reliability:
  Monitor and improve equipment reliability by analyzing maintenance data, identifying recurring issues, and implementing effective solutions to enhance operational performance.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines. Promote a culture of safety and ensure the team is trained in proper procedures, risk assessments, and safety protocols.
• Inventory Management:
  Manage and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and equipment necessary for routine and emergency repairs. Work with procurement to ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, downtime, and equipment performance. Prepare reports and communicate maintenance performance metrics to management.
• Collaboration with Other Departments:
  Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to identify maintenance needs, resolve operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Budgeting and Cost Control:
  Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance department budget. Ensure efficient use of resources, control maintenance costs, and minimize downtime-related expenses.
