Position SummaryContributes to the development of medical devices. Main responsibilities are conducting product performance testing and building prototypes for evaluation.
Primary Responsibilities- Conduct product performance bench testing
- Build or assemble prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies
- Construct, operate, troubleshoot, adjust, maintain and test equipment, systems or products
- Perform testing and analyze data and write reports
- Review or develop processing or manufacturing instructions
- Maintain detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis
- Record data following good documentation practices
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
- Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP and ISO guidelines
- Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
- Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
- High School diploma
- Medical device Tech industry experience is a plus
- Must have at least 1 year of troubleshooting and testing experience as a technician
- Computer skills including solid proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of GMP, experience with ISO regulations is a plus
- Must have technical writing experience
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment
