As a Weighing and Blending Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every product meets the highest standards by expertly handling the precise weighing, blending, and documentation that keeps our operation running smoothly and safely. From mastering equipment to maintaining impeccable cleanliness and compliance with FDA regulations, your attention to detail will make all the difference in delivering top-quality products our customers can trust.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30PM Pay Rate: $16.00 Per Hour City:
West Valley City, UT
- Strong command of English—reading, writing, and speaking—with the ability to perform basic math calculations confidently.
- Proficiency operating weighing and blending equipment while strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Exceptional record-keeping skills, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Commitment to safety, personal hygiene, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understanding and adherence to FDA regulations, specifically 21 CFR Part 111.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and work safely at elevated heights.
- Experience with lockout/tagout procedures and machine safety checks.
- Familiarity with 5S workplace organization principles to maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
- Previous exposure to batch processing environments or roles requiring strict quality control.
- Cross-training in multiple areas of production, showcasing flexibility and a growth mindset.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience or training in manufacturing and production settings is preferred but not required.
- A willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime when needed, to meet production goals.
- Ability to communicate concerns immediately to supervisors regarding contamination risks, equipment issues, or batch irregularities.
- A proactive approach to upholding hygienic and safety standards at all times.
