Forklift Operator; TPO-Weekend Night shift

Forklift Operatorssupportthe shippingdepartmentwiththemovementofmaterialsandproducts,including taking part in warehouse organizing and finished goods inspection, taking product off the productionlineand putting it away in designated locations in the warehouse, loading and unloading customer trucks.

Standard work week
40 hoursa week with occasional overtime, no travel required.

• Performpre-shiftforkliftinspectionsonforklift.

• Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, productionoutputandotherkeymetrics,performingmathematicalcalculationsasneeded.

• Safelyoperateapropanesit-downforklifttomoverawmaterialsorfinishedproductsthroughout the manufacturing floor, which includes, but is not limited to, keeping production line clear and running and keeping product and raw materials properly stored.

• Visuallyinspectmaterialforqualitydefects;
  
  Segregatedefectiveproductandnotifysupervisor.

• Filldumpstersfromproductionfloor;
  
  Housekeepingofplant(insideandout).

• Workasateamwithproductionandshippingteamtofollowallfacility Standard Works/processes and improve operations.

• Supporttherecyclingarea,when needed,andhelptokeepitorganized.

• Fillinonotherareasoftheplant(e.g.,Machine Operator) as required.

• AssistsforkliftoperatorIIasneeded.

• Otherdutiesasassigned.

• Highlymotivatedwithagood,soundworkethic.

• Priorexperienceoperatingapropanesit-downforkliftorothermobileequipment(Powered Industrial Trucks).

• Mustdemonstratesafeworkingpracticesandpossessgreatattentiontodetail.

• AbilitytofollowCWT’spolicies,procedures,and processes.

• Good communication,organization,andtimemanagementskills.

• Basic computer,mathematics,and problem-solving skills;abilitytouseacalculator.

• Abilitytousemeasuringdevices(gauges,tapes,rulers).

• Teamplayerabletofollowinstructionsfrombothmanagementandpeers.

• Abilitytolearnandoperatenewequipment.

• Required:

• High School Diplomaor GEDis Preferred

• Mustbeatleast
  18yearsofageorolder.

• Priorexperienceinamanufacturingsettingpreferred.

• Fastpacedmanufacturingenvironmentwhereworkersareexposedtobothambient/outside temperatures and dust; working with mechanical parts andpinch points; exposure to increased noise levels.

• Hoursworked:8-10hours/shift,variesonshiftscheduleandbusinessvolume.

• Flexibletothepossibilityofovertimeandweekendhourswhenrequired.

• Heavy,stationarymachineryonmanufacturingfloor.
