Overview
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. Pay: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour. We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process, with potential to earn UP TO 8% on transactions (which could average an additional $4.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate).

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. Engages with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions and thrives on engaging with customers to assist with inquiries and problem resolution. Associates work with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non-management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions per policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Completes the assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- May assist customers on exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to work at multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2-8% commission based on the gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.
