Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrol

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and help to de‑escalate interactions when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, while reporting observed conditions and/or concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, provide directions and assistance, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals when required in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
