Concrete-Laborer, Foundation, CDL​/operator detail ; grinding, epoxy, pol

Overview

We have multiple positions available. We need an experienced form setter for foundations, we need someone with a CDL thats willing to work as well, and if not experienced then willing to learn how to run a small crane, skid steer, mini-excavator, etc. We need someone to help with doing epoxy floors, concrete polishing, patching and touch up work, etc. We need laborers to help in all areas of concrete work, a lot of jack hammer and tear out work.

We have reliable constant work through the winter, hours slow down, but the guys still get close to 40 hours if they want them. Spring to Fall pretty much all the overtime you can handle if you want it. We have profit share for our flat workers once they are trained and producing. Foundation guys get bonuses depending on efficiency and profit of each job.

We do two weeks vacation once you have been here for a year.

Foundation
- Showing up every day on time, follow instructions, setting and pouring footings and foundations.

CDL
- Moving gooseneck trailers to and from job sites, running dump truck, crane, grading and prepping for flat work and for smaller foundations, tearing out concrete with machines and by hand at times, keeping up on maintenance and legality of all trailers and equipment. Keeping good notes and communicating with the office daily.

Detail and decorative
- Running hand grinders and walk behind, we do a decent amount of epoxy coatings that we need help with, but you ll also be polishing concrete, fixing floors if a basement gets away from our guys, patching exterior concrete that needs it, overlaying concrete, and possibly helping in any other area of concrete work

Laborer
- Using a demo saw and jack hammer, taking good notes and communicating with the office and job managers daily, show up on time every day, helping out on flatwork crews, foundation crews, decorative crews, grading crew, whoever needs help. Must have a good attitude and willing to learn.

-You must have your own reliable vehicle, we work all over from Santiquin to Kaysville, from Grantsville to Kamas, and you might go to multiple jobs in one day. We do reimburse your fuel when you are needed at multiple jobs.

-You need to be legal to work in this country.

-You need to have a good attitude, and be willing to learn and take instructions. We have a good work environment, we work hard and have a good time doing it. We won t keep someone around if you aren t working or if you are causing problems for the crew. We have a lot of guys that have stayed working for us for 10+ years, the owner takes good care of his people as long as you are a team player.

-You need to be able to take notes and send to the office daily if you are a crew lead or working by yourself

-Must be able to work long days in all weather, physically able to lift and carry heavy things up to 100 pounds, this is concrete you need to be tough.

-Speaking english and Spanish is a big plus

-Take responsibility for yourself, I don t want to have to babysit people all the time
