Concrete Repair Laborer; Moab

About the Role

This position is not suitable for applicants with only welding experience. There are no welding duties in this position.

• Working alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks
• General concrete repair (demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, finishing)
• Operating power-tools (i.e. rotary hammers, chipping hammers, hammer drills, etc.)
• Post-tension repair
• Rebar/post-tension installation and stressing
• Independently traveling between projects

• Focused on safety in all situations and environments.
• Comfortable with the use of standard PPE at construction sites.
• Team and solution oriented, with a proactive, professional, positive attitude.
• Experienced construction field technicians / laborers.
• Advantageous if familiar with concrete repair, formwork and finishing, grouting, and placement/tying of rebar.
• Advantageous if familiar with the installation and/or stressing of post tensioning systems.
• Familiarity with new construction and existing buildings.
• Comfort with working at heights.
• The ability to read and speak English.
• The ability to lift material up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination & capable of standing for extended periods of time.
• Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week.
• Desire to grow and advance within the company with commensurate salary growth.
• Prior experience in post tensioning is ideal but not required.
• Own transportation, valid driver's license, and pass DMV record screening.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English may be given preference.
• Union ironworkers/rodbusters with ability to work union or open-shop projects may be given preference.

• Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
• Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Schedule: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift
• Work Location: In person
