Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
What You Will Do
Lead advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems, including CAN bus and ECMs, as well as medium- and light-duty equipment.
Perform engine overhauls, rebuilds, and complex repairs with precision and efficiency.
Utilize diagnostic tools, software, and service manuals to accurately troubleshoot issues.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing detailed diagnostics and service recommendations.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel and gas engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving engines, transmissions, brakes, and related components.
Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble diesel and gas engines.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Adhere to all safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsQualifications / What You Will Bring
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 years of hands‑on experience required; 5–10 years of experience in heavy equipment, diesel, and hydraulic systems preferred.
- Expert‑level knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to supply a complete set of professional‑grade tools.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company vehicle (mobile role).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
