Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly
The North American Industrial Process & Environmental group is searching for a Computer Science Intern to support our location in Salt Lake City, UT. The successful candidate will be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.
Essential Job Functions- Assist in the design and development of software applications or systems
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Support the testing and deployment of software solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Document development processes and code changes
- Pursuing or completed a BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong interest in software development and programming
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. C++, Python, Matlab, Power Shell, Java script)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. SVN, Git)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Interfaces with internal customers
- Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Previous internship or project experience is a plus but not required
- Experience 0-1 yr
