Accounting / Office Manager

United Talent is seeking an experienced Accounting / Office Manager for a temporary-to-hire opportunity.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Lunch:
One-hour unpaid lunch Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00/hour based on skills and experience

Job Summary:

This position is ideal for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused professional with strong accounting skills and recent experience using Quick Books Desktop or similar accounting software. The Accounting / Office Manager will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, payroll processing, tax-related duties, customer service, and front counter responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple office and accounting tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Handle payroll processing accurately and timely
  • Assist with tax-related duties and documentation
  • Maintain accurate financial and office records
  • Use Quick Books Desktop for accounting-related tasks
  • Provide customer service in person and over the phone
  • Work the front counter and assist customers as needed
  • Perform general office management and administrative duties
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation
  • Support daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

  • Recent experience with Quick Books Desktop within the last two years preferred
  • Experience with other accounting software may be considered if the candidate can quickly learn Quick Books Desktop
  • Strong accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work independently

This position could be part time or full time depending on the candidate and their preferences
