Summary The Staff Accountant supports the Finance department by performing a wide range of general accounting and financial reporting duties. This role is responsible for daily transactional activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, inventory, and production reporting as well as assisting with month-end close through the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.

Customer Service, Absolute Integrity, We Are Family, Share the Success - General accounting duties including accounts payable, production reporting, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Assists with period end close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assists with annual budget process.
- Involvement with periodic physical inventory counts.
- Assists with fixed asset and lease accounting.
- Performs routine data entry and supporting tasks for accounting staff in the areas of accounts payable, account receivable, billing/invoicing, inventory, production and financial statement preparation.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and stressful situations.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Regularly sits, stands, walks, and moves throughout office and manufacturing environments. Frequently uses a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally bends, stoops, reaches and lifts up to 20 pounds.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or actively pursuing a relevant degree
- At least 2 years of accounting experience.
- Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, weekends and holidays.

This role primarily operates in an office setting with moderate exposure to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures while on the plant floor.
Salary Range- $50,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
