Junior Fund Accountant
ACE Alternatives is seeking a Junior Fund Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of fund operations, venture capital and private equity. You’ll play an essential part in delivering accurate reporting, maintaining high standards of financial integrity, and creating value for our stakeholders, while gaining hands‑on experience in the world of fund accounting and operations.

Key Responsibilities- Support accounting activities for ACE clients investing across a diverse range of alternative asset classes, in compliance with various GAAP frameworks (e.g., German GAAP, IFRS) and industry‑specific regulations.
- Assist with the accounting migration of existing fund structures for new clients.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including supporting documentation, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
- Provide support with financial consolidations, investor reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
- Reconcile fund drawdowns, distributions, accruals, expenses, and other related transactions.
- Manage double‑entry bookkeeping entries within the accounting system.
- Provide investor relations support, including preparing statements and responses to investor inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of fund investor capital statements and the calculation of fund and investor Internal Rate of Return (IRR), as needed.
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, external auditors) in day‑to‑day fund accounting, custom reporting, and other investor‑specific projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA in progress is a plus)
- 1‑2 years (internship) in fund accounting VC/ PE, or financial services
- Willingness to learn and deep‑dive into Venture Capital and Private Equity Fund accounting
- Exposure to fund structures (LP/GP models), waterfalls, and carried interest calculations is a plus
