The successful candidate will reside and work in Bermuda, with full relocation support and work permit sponsorship provided. The practice helps clients manage their US income tax reporting obligations across insurance, hedge funds, private equity funds and private clients, alongside local tax laws and regulations including Economic Substance, Pillar 2, VAT and AEOI (FATCA/CRS). The role is open at experienced Manager or Senior Manager level depending on the candidate.

The role Joining the tax management team, you will assist in the growth and development of the US Tax practice while supervising the preparation of US income tax returns for a sophisticated client base — corporations, partnerships, and specialised areas including property & casualty insurance, international executive taxation, and hedge funds / private equity funds. At Senior Manager level, you will work directly with the Tax Partner, bringing a high level of technical knowledge and judgement, and may be expected to develop knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities  Supervising the preparation of US income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, insurance entities and investment funds  Overseeing tax staff, managing projects, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance in client delivery  Maintaining strong technical knowledge of US domestic and international tax rules relevant to the client base  Building and maintaining client relationships  Supporting the professional development of staff through supervision, mentoring and training  Contributing to the growth and development of the practice Requirements  Manager level: at least 5 years of US tax experience in public accounting or a professional services environment, with a US tax specialisation  Senior Manager level: 6–8 years of US tax experience  CPA designation (EA, LLM in Taxation, ACA, ACCA or CA also considered;

LLM in Tax preferred at SM level)  Strong technical knowledge of US federal income tax for corporations and partnerships
