Overview

Group 1 Honda Kingwood is growing and looking to add an experienced Automotive Technician to our team at our high-volume Honda dealership!

We're seeking a seasoned technician with multi-brand repair experience who can diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles and is ready to build a long-term career with a Fortune 204 automotive retailer.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test automotive systems across multiple makes and models
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Mentor and support less experienced technicians as needed
Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

Extensive experience as an automotive technician working across multiple brands required
ASE Master Certification highly preferred
Additional ASE or manufacturer certifications a huge plus
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Own tools and tool proficiency
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have a Valid Driver's License
