Top projects include major healthcare, higher education, and sports facilities as well as automotive, chemical and pharmaceutical facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepares construction cost estimates by doing takeoffs and analyzing all costs associated with the work.
* Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors and ensures that scopes and qualifications meet project needs.
* Attends meetings and speaks with customers, professionals, suppliers and team members.
* Field measure and take core samples on existing buildings.
* Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
* Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
* Research upcoming projects
* Track bid volumes for reporting
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Associates degree or equivalent experience
* 1- 3 years of construction estimating experience
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills
