Community Liaison Manager
Principle Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the company and the community
- Work closely with Management and union
- Responds in a timely manner to employee problems, questions and concerns
- Assist with employee retention
- General office procedures including but not limited to handling phone calls and filing
- Ability to interact with all employees in a tactful manner
- Work with all aspects of Hiring, Recruiting, & Retention
- Recruiting/Hiring production employees for our company (selling our company to potential candidates), work with Workforce Centers (Job Services), contact & develop relationships with advertising agencies/resources, engage in community events
- Research areas of employment, community events
- Must follow all compliance guidelines
- Assist Employment Manager & Assistant Employment Manager
- Maintains records as required
- Other duties as needed or required
Qualifications:
- Bilingual is a highly preferred. Multi-lingual skills preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs required
- Communication/public relations skills required
- Knowledge of management of an affirmative action program
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Including phone etiquette - Team Player, must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
- Must be able to travel 60% of the time, especially during prime recruiting season
- Prior experience in unionized environment helpful
