To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Shipping Coordinator (m/w/d) who will take on the holistic management of export processes and ensure the compliant and timely worldwide delivery of machines and spare parts. In this role, you will process orders error-free in ERP systems, create complete shipping and customs documents, and conduct export declarations to ensure smooth global logistics processes.
This is an excellent opportunity to further deepen your expertise in international trade and export law with a global technology leader in packaging solutions. You will work closely with logistics service providers, regional sales teams, and customers worldwide to ensure smooth cross-border transactions and complete regulatory compliance.
Your tasks:
- Proper and efficient order entry in ERP systems while ensuring data integrity
- Coordination of worldwide machine and spare part deliveries in compliance with current export regulations and Incoterms to minimize delays and risks
- Creation of complete shipping and customs documents (including commercial invoices, CMR documents, certificates of origin,
A.TR goods traffic certificates) - Conducting customs declarations in ATLAS (IAA-Plus) in accordance with legal export obligations
- Performing preferential origin calculations within the framework of applicable free trade agreements to optimize customs savings
- Retrieval of incoming proof and structured document filing to support audits and compliance requirements
- Central contact person for logistics service providers and building partnership-oriented, cost- and service-oriented cooperation
- Communication with regional teams and customers worldwide to ensure smooth order processing
- Maintenance and updating of logistical and customer-related data in the ERP system
- Conducting sanctions list checks and invoicing in accordance with series business regulations to minimize compliance risks
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training in foreign trade or as a freight forwarder or a bachelor’s degree in international trade or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in export processing, trade compliance, or a comparable logistical coordination role
- In-depth knowledge of import and export regulations, including embargo countries and sanctions lists
- Experience in using ERP systems and customs declaration tools, particularly ATLAS (IAA-Plus)
- Secure use of Microsoft Office and precise documentation skills
- Very good oral and written communication skills in German and English
- High organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
