Under the leadership of the Manager, Sport Operations, the Coordinator, Sport Operations will be a proactive and motivated member of the Sport Operations team. The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the various departments within the Sport & Athlete Services (SAS) division with day-to-day operational processes, financial management, and business initiatives. This position will support the implementation of department priorities and execution of initiatives directly aligned with the SAS division and organizational strategic priorities.
Here’show you’ll have an impact:
- Support a customer-centric department using best practices in customer service to deliver streamlined and efficient partnerships with stakeholders, including NGBs, member organizations, constituent groups, and various USOPC divisions.
- Execute the full contract routing process for the designated division contracts, including the preparation, execution, and tracking of additional contractor/service provider requirements. Work with Athlete Safety to ensure compliance with background checks and Safe Sport Training as part of the contract process.
- Process weekly direct athlete support payments including additional payments for Operation Gold events and pregnancy support in collaboration with performance teams and finance. Ensure streamlined communication of missing forms, issues with payments, and delayed payments with respective team members to ensure communication is passed to the NGBs and athletes.
- Coordinate EAHI enrollment processes for athletes in partnership with Sports Medicine, Performance Teams and Athlete Services. Support timely communication regarding missing documentation, enrollment questions, and issues, ensuring updates are effectively shared with internal stakeholders, NGBs, and athletes. Coordinate and prepare correspondence with key stakeholders, including NGB staff, internal teams, and various working groups as necessary.
- Manage and coordinate the compliance with the USOPC document retention policy across the SAS division and within the Sport Operations team.
- Process and track designated purchase orders, contract payments, and invoices for vendors in Sport Operations and across the division.
- Maintain a centralized division SharePoint model to efficiently manage and store key division documents, processes, policies, and information.
- At the direction of Sport Operations leadership, support key division projects and priorities. Support division leadership with administrative tasks as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or sport management or related work experience
- 1-2 years of experience with business operations, sport management, and/or non-profit management
- Some basic accounting experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Skilled experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and general knowledge/experience of financial reporting systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong customer service skills with all levels of staff, including responsiveness, follow-through, and professionalism under stress
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, including data considered private under HIPAA standards
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Passion for sport and commitment to the mission and philosophy of the USOPC
- Office environment in multi-story building on a multi-building site
- Standard office equipment

Here’s some more information you need to know:- Hiring pay range $24.65 - $25.35 per hour.
- This Full-Time, Non-Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
- Bonus:
This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 5% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion. - Benefits:
