Manpower is currently recruiting for a Project Manager I with a well-established manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with project management experience and strong customer service skills to join a team-focused environment.
Position SummaryThe Project Manager I is responsible for managing assigned Level 1 projects from receipt of the Factory Order Package through final customer payment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication, timely order processing, and coordination of internal departments to deliver quality products on schedule and according to customer specifications.
The successful candidate will help strengthen customer relationships while ensuring projects meet or exceed financial performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary customer contact for all aspects of assigned orders.
- Provide timely communication regarding order status, changes, and issue resolution.
- Manage Factory Order Packages from start to completion.
- Coordinate and implement order changes as required.
- Ensure on-time delivery of hardware and software products.
- Monitor project financial performance and margin objectives.
- Keep management informed of project progress and financial status.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Support process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist with customer visits, witness testing, and plant tours.
- Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and operational policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered, including 6 years of project management experience and knowledge of pump manufacturing.
- Experience with engineered products and quality principles.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers.
