Construction Laborer; Mount Storm

Founded in 1960 by Rudy Gerbus and his brother, Gerbus Bros Construction began as a mass earth‑moving company. In the 1970s, our growing expertise led us to partner with local power plants to address the environmental challenges of fly ash management, work that ultimately evolved into Trans Ash .

Today, Trans Ash provides innovative, environmentally responsible solutions for handling and storing fly ash. We build lined landfills, support daily plant operations, and help our energy partners maintain the highest standards of environmental safety.

This full‑time role is part of a long‑term project with strong stability and growth opportunities. You’ll join a team that values reliability, accountability, safety, and honesty , and you’ll play a direct role in protecting the environment and supporting local communities.

$20.00–$26.00/hour, based on experience

Cleaning and preparing construction sites

Loading and unloading materials and equipment

Digging trenches, compacting earth, and back filling holes

Operating and tending miscellaneous heavy equipment

Support daily operations as directed by the superintendent

Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry

Heavy equipment certifications are a plus

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Able to walk slopes and uneven terrain

Valid driver’s license

At least 18 years of age

Ability to pass a drug test, MVR check, and background check

Comfortable working in a construction environment
