Field Safety Manager (Weekend Day Shift Data Center Project)

Location: Point Pleasant, WV

Duration: 12 Months (Start: ASAP)

Type: 1099 Contractor (Candidates Must Carry Their Own Workers' Compensation Coverage)

Pay Rate: $47-$49/hr

Per Diem: $125/Day

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Friday-Monday | Day Shift | 10-12 Hour Shifts | 40-48 Hours Per Week

Additional Schedule Details: Consistent four-day work week supporting weekend data center construction operations.

Join a contractor supporting a major data center construction project in Point Pleasant, WV. The project includes trenching, excavation, grading, concrete work, underground utility installation, and duct bank construction activities.

The Field Safety Manager will serve as the on-site safety resource for weekend operations while ensuring compliance, identifying hazards, and supporting safe execution of civil construction activities.

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
• Construction Field Safety Management Experience
• Experience Supporting Civil Construction Activities
• Understanding of Excavation and Trenching Safety Requirements
• Ability to Conduct Safety Inspections and Audits
• Strong Communication and Leadership Skills
• Candidates Must Carry Their Own Workers' Compensation Coverage

• Data Center Construction Experience
• BCSP Credential (CHST, ASP, CSP, or Similar)
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Related Field
• Heavy Civil Construction Experience
• Utility Construction Safety Experience

• Provide weekend field safety oversight for active construction operations
• Monitor excavation, grading, and trenching activities
• Support concrete construction and underground utility installation work
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and field observations
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions with project leadership
• Participate in incident response and investigation activities
• Promote contractor accountability and compliance
• Review work activities and support risk mitigation efforts
• Maintain project safety records and documentation
• Serve as the primary safety representative during weekend operations
