Job Summary/Basic Function

The primary duty for the position will be to design the  issue of Sans Merci, keeping in line with the identity established during the past several years. In addition to designing the magazine, the designer will be responsible for designing important Sans Merci event materials, including (but not limited to) a call for submissions, social media posts, the release event, call for editors, t-shirts, etc.

Project must be completed within 70 hours.

Minimum Qualifications

Sans Merci is looking for a Graphic Design major to design this year’s issue of Sans Merci. While a junior or senior Graphic Design major is preferred, any student majoring in Design may apply. Knowledge of experience with Adobe InDesign is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

(1) a current resume listing relevant skills and job experience; and (2) a visual portfolio of design work as a PDF to jyablons by 9:00 am on September 14, 2026.
