ABOUT THIS ROLEAs a Cashier in the Retail Operations department, you will provide excellent customer service while processing money transfers, foreign currency exchange, bill payments, and other financial transactions. You will ensure all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with money transfers, currency exchange, bill payments, and other financial services.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and company policies.
Handle cash responsibly, including cash balancing, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records.
Promote Ria's products and services to customers and identify opportunities to meet their needs.
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing daily reports and balancing cash drawers.
Follow all company procedures related to security, fraud prevention, and operational compliance.
Support team members and contribute to achieving branch performance goals.
POSITION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in retail, customer service, cashiering, banking, or financial services is preferred.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfortable handling cash and performing basic mathematical calculations accurately.
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
